About the Game

Privateer: The Kilrathi Menace is a boardgame of adventure.
  Each player will select a pilot from the pilot deck, each with their own skills and membership in a guild.  Players will fly ships from planet to planet, and encounter other ships and adventurers along the way.  Missions are offered up through the mission computer, while commodities can be exchanged to accumulate wealth.

Pilots have a Piloting Skill, Influence Skill, Starting Location and Class

 Ships will be able to carry different weapons and upgrades, along with several different hull designs.  Players who choose to cater to powerful factions in the game will be given access to their exclusive missions and special modules.

  The objective of the game will be to accumulate a legacy or in solo play, to protect the quadrant from the Kilrathi threat. This is done through accomplishing great deeds.

The Guilds:
  Players will have a guild pass attached to their pilot.  This guild grants special abilities as well as an additional condition upon establishing your legacy:






Ships:
There are several ships available to be flown in the game, and this is just a sample.  Additionally, more ships can be added to the game in the future, through mods and our own intended expansions.

Planets:
Planets and Stations are connected via Jumpgates.  It is through jumpgates that you travel, and where some encounters can take place.  There are some familiar places, and some new ones, but as artwork is updated, this quadrant will take on its own distinct look; while other quadrants will be available for new experiences.
